Michael has been in the floral industry for 11 years, specializing in wedding and event design. He is co-owner of The Blooming Idea in The Woodlands, TX with his parents, and has been freelancing with other companies in his spare time across the country. In June of 2015, he was inducted into the American Institute of Floral Design and is currently serving the South Central AIFD Region board of directors. Michael is very enthusiastic about design competition, as it has effectively developed and honed his design skills. He was the Houston Designer of the Year in 2018, and has had the honor of being educated by world renowned designers, along with many inspiring opportunities helping with stage design presentations. He has been featured on the cover of Florists' Review and has also contributed to several magazine articles.
